CONCLUSION

The Emma and Haylee mattress both offer comfort and great support in the form of a multi-zonal firmness build that assures that the necessary counter-pressure is provided in the appropriate areas. However this is taken a notch higher in the Emma mattress with its 7 zones compared to Haylee’s with 6. In terms of breathability, both performed well to allow for a good level of heat dissipation.

Something to note about the Haylee mattress though, that it takes up to 3-7 days to expand to its full size compared to the Emma mattress which was ready to be slept on the same day. Another major factor to consider is that the Haylee mattress is considerably HEAVIER than the Emma. A King-size Haylee weighs 36 kg and is a tad handful to be managed by a single person. So for those with pre-existing back/shoulder/muscular conditions it might be prudent to consider the ergonomics of handling the mattress as well as its actual performance.

However, if you have any intention of purchasing more than one mattress in the same household, then Emma is potentially the better choice as the 100 night trial applies for all purchases made, not just the first one. So people of differing preferences within the same household can take advantage of the 100 night trial as well which is great! And this isn’t something that Haylee offers to you.

In terms of the benefits that each one has to offer, the value provided by both is quite similar. But if you opt for European-quality mattress, then the Emma is the clear choice considering only slightly higher price difference. With the 100 night trial, there’s little reason not to give the Emma Original a shot before opting for an alternative.
